The Archive Office safeguards the following records:

Sacramental Records
The office has sacramental records for the Archdiocese of Denver, The Diocese of Pueblo from 1935-1942 and for the Diocese of Colorado Springs until 1984. It also maintains the Sacramental Registers for St. Patrick's church in Denver and for Mercy Hospital.

Baptismal Certificate:
Date of birth and baptism
Names of child, parents, baptismal sponsor(s), and officiating priest

Confirmation Certificate:
Date of confirmation
Name and age of child
Names of confirmation sponsor and officiating bishop or priest

Marriage Certificate:
Date of marriage
Names of individuals being married, witnesses present, and officiating priest

Death Certificate:
Name of individual
Dates of birth, death, burial
Names of cemetery, next of kin, and officiating priest

Local Catholic newspapers
The Denver Catholic Register is available in the archives on microfilm and is also available in digital format through the Vehr Theological Library's online Library Catalogue. The Archives Office also contains scrapbooks pertaining to the Denver Catholic Register for the period 1935-1972.
