St. John Vianney & Redemptoris Mater Seminaries
Who We Are
Under the guidance of the Archbishop of Denver, two seminaries prepare men for the priesthood in this Archdiocese: St. John Vianney Theological Seminary and Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary.
Housed on the same campus with the Archdiocese’s chancery offices at the John Paul II Center for the New Evangelization in the city of Denver, the two seminaries develop archdiocesan priests through integrated and personal formation programs.
Since the seminaries’ inception, men have been drawn from families of the Archdiocese, the nation, and the world. Following their deepest yearnings, the seminarians have come from faithful Catholic families where sons have heard God’s call. Through these families’ gifts of their sons, the priestly vocation continues to grow, enabling the growth of Jesus Christ’s witness in the world. Thanks to these men, the Church continues to sow seeds and begins “a new harvest.”
